PAST EXHIBITIONS

October 2016

Collector John Mallery exhibited his extensive collection of Maurice Bebb prints at the Birger-Sandzen Memorial Gallery August through October 2016. Sandzen was a charter member of the Prairie Print Makers, an organization Bebb later joined. Both men created gift prints for the group. This exhibit was the first major showing of Bebb's works since his death in 1986 and the first ever to attract a range of scholarly articles and perspectives.

In conjunction with the exhibit, Pomegranate Communications, Inc. and the Birger-Sandzen Memorial Gallery co-published a catalog raisonne of Bebb's complete works, with essays by Cori Sherman North, Jim Harbison, and John Mallery.
